Another victorious day at Cainscross Bike Track

Our friends at Caincross Parish Council have worked hard over the last few years to secure funding and build a bike track for all ages at Victory Park, in Cainscross. Access Bike were on hand for the grand opening last year and have been taking groups there ever since.

Recently they were asked by the council to hold an afternoon in the park to try and get as many new riders to come along and get to know the track and learn how to use it safely.

Well, the weather had other plans, but, everyone had a blast in the park! A really good group of parents and their young children came, most of which hadn’t been before, so it was a whole new learning experience for them (exactly what they’d hoped).  One young rider do so many laps, the team lost count!

Everyone who came, loved the space and the track that’s been created and they were all so enthusiastic to learn how to use it and hang out and chat with the Access Bike team. Such a shame about the weather, but they all really made the most of it and the Creative Sustainability van came into its own with the awning to take cover in the heaviest of rain.
