Since the end of September, Access Bikes are now reaching more people with our expanded opening hours. From Monday to Friday we are open 3-6pm for 13-25 year olds to come to our workshop and youth space at Fromehall Mill off Cainscross Road.
No booking or payment is required, Any young person can come down and get support to work on their own bike(s), earn a bike through refurbishing one of our donated bikes, or just to hang out.
We’ll be open every week, including school holidays – only closing at Christmas and for 3 other “down weeks” to tidy and plan.
Town Centre – Our town centre shop front space will now focus on sessions for adults. Open to all to come along to get their bikes checked and receive an introduction to bike mechanics at the Creative Sustainability shopfront space at 10 John St – fortnightly on Mondays from 3.30-7.30pm.
