The Gloucestershire Youth Climate Group took a trip to Tewkesbury Nature Reserve to learn more about the work they are doing on Biodiversity and to take part in some research.
The group, who have youth representatives from across the different districts in the county, had a tour around the site and then did three water quality testing exercises, a riverfly monitoring exercise and observed toads and frogspawn. These findings will feed into ongoing research about biodiversity trends in the area and is fed into the Water Rangers Programme – and The Riverfly Partnership – You can find out more with the links below:
