During our weekly meeting on March 8th, International Women’s Day, CS team members collated a list of organisations working to support and women and girls which we wanted to make available to a wider audience.

Young Women’s Trust: National Organisation who works with 18-30 year olds providing mentoring, training and CV support through the ‘work it out’ service
Sistah Space: Service in London that supports women and families from African and Caribbean Heritage affected by domestic abuse. Have done research in this area, work on influencing laws and policies and also provide training
FFLAG: National organisation that support family and friends of LGBTQ community members. They have a strong presence in Gloucestershire.
Women’s Aid Survivor Handbook: Resource that provides practical support and information for women experiencing domestic abuse, with a section tailored to the needs of Disabled Women.
Black Mothers Matter: Offers free resources for black mothers and birthers, courses, and mental health support. One of their projects sends gift hampers to support black pregnancies.
