Gloucestershire Youth Climate Group

The Youth Climate Group takes action that will contribute to a low carbon and resilient Gloucestershire….

And that will reduce the impact of climate change and biodiversity loss for people and planet. The Group welcomes young people living, working and in education in the County.

The group is for 16-25 year olds living, working and in education in the county that want to get involved with climate action and advocate for youth voice in local climate policy.

GYCG is funded by Gloucestershire County Council.

Ways to get involved

Core Panel – 30 young people from Gloucestershire who meet monthly to plan activities and events that educate and raise awareness of climate issues and act as advocates. We have 5 members from each district.

District Groups (Coming Soon) – Smaller working groups of young people in each county district that organise community action in their local area that other young people can get involved with.

Building a Network – Linking together young people with other climate groups in the county and community organisations and signposting opportunities through our regular newsletter and social media.
